Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing, sports attire (such as yoga pants or sports shorts) that allows for easy movement and for the therapist to see the joint or muscle area being assessed. Please avoid wearing thick material clothes like jeans or thick prints. If you have any X-rays, MRI scans, or doctor's notes related to your condition, do bring them along.
The therapist will use a holistic approach involving specific movement tests, muscle and joint assessments, and palpation (hands-on examination) to pinpoint the root cause of your pain or restriction, rather than just treating the symptom.
There is a ramp available on level 1 of Bukit Timah Shopping Centre for wheelchair users. You can enter the building from there and take the lift to level 5. Alternatively, there is a handicap parking spot available at the carpark on deck 3C.
When scheduling your appointment with us, do let us know if you require assistance getting to our clinic, we can meet you either at the entrance of the mall or the carpark to guide you.
Generally, no, you can book an appointment directly with us. However, if you intend to claim the cost of treatment through your health insurance, we recommend checking the policy terms with your insurer. For clients above 80 years old, we may require a recent doctor's note or health check clearance to deem you fit for our manual therapy sessions.
